From 7 November 2020 to 9 May 2021, at Palazzo Blu in Pisa, the exhibition "De Chirico e la Metafisica" will tell the work of the Pictor Optimus in a long journey through images and words, a navigation made up of departures and returns along the arc of the twentieth century, leaving deep traces still recognizable.

The exhibition allows you to get to know de Chirico thanks to a series of interpretations that can open the curtain on his enigmas and allow you to walk through his magnificent labyrinth, as well as the discovery of the artist's personal collection or the "de Chirico di de Chirico" , fulcrum of this exhibition.
Thanks to the support of the most prestigious national institutions, such as the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto and beyond, and with the collaboration of the Giorgio and Isa de Chirico, the project will present at Palazzo Blu a series of absolute masterpieces, able to testify the evolution of Giorgio de Chirico's research and to show the evolution of the brief but extraordinary metaphysical season through its most illustrious exponents.
